Watch our hens, live on camera

ChookCam™ HoursChookCam HoursLocal farm time is

ChookCam™ is switched off when it is too dark for the camera, but our hens are out until near dusk. During periods of very heavy rain or violent storms our hens are tucked up safe inside, they do not like bad weather anymore than we do.

ChookCam™ on Mobile Devices

The controllable player requires Flash, so on most mobile devices you will enjoy a live stream of still images.

Using ChookCam™

A limited number of people can watch the live stream at the same time, and only one person at a time can control it. Just try again later if you can't get in straight away. There is a delay of a few seconds before it responds to the controls. Just be patient, the signal has to go back and forth over a mobile connection ;-)

We love to hear what you think

We know you care about our hens, just like we do. Why not post a quick ChookCam™ comment below or on our Facebook page.

I have watched your camera many times, but lately whenever I try I get the message posted below. I am trying to access the video from this page, so the message makes no sense.

Thanks for the past views, however. I enjoyed them on occasion.

Is this chicken farm on Mars? Chickens are descended from jungle animals. They want to live in lush, varied, green landscapes, not giant mudscapes. Also, for each and every one of those bedraggled hens, a baby rooster was suffocated or ground up alive. This is awful.

This is a very good marketing idea - it makes the origins of the eggs real - the hens look like they are doing their thing

eco-eggs, is it true that your stocking rate is in fact 10,000 hens per hectare and only a handful of them get out into this filmed part?

December 18, 2016 | Unregistered CommenterGina Dow

I have just come off Choice magazine. The have stated your eggs arr NOT free range as you stock more then 1500 hens per hectare. Won't be buying your stinking eggs again.

I used to by eco eggs, but then I read on their packaging they stock their hens at over 10,000 per hectare... I was paying a premium for these eggs because I thought the chooks were being treated nicer. so wrong. Just fyi ECO eggs, 10,000 per hectare is not free range... it's better than cages and barns... but not for the premium you charge for them.

Thank you for this opportunity

I've been buying your eggs for sometime only to discover the ACCC fined the company $300,000 for misleading the public that these eggs are free range. also lists ecoeggs with the lowest rating possible for free range eggs. Never again!
