Tuesday, August 30, 2011 Councils ban cage eggs
by

ecoeggs It began with Cessnock and Newcastle in November 2010, and now a growing number of number of local NSW Councils have placed a ban on caged eggs. When we first heard this we imagined they were issuing on the spot fines over your breakfast table. What it boils down to is simply that these councils are no longer using products that contain caged eggs. It's perhaps more evidence of an increasing awareness of animal welfare and food production. What do you think of the move?
